To convene Congress, leading climate and environmental advocates, the private sector, and other experts to facilitate more formal and regular connections between interested parties and stakeholders to secure the biggest climate and clean energy solutions possible.
our Story
SEEC Institute is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening collaboration, convening and educating, and developing strategic planning on climate and clean energy issues. We connect congressional leaders with the private sector, civil society, advocates, academics, and other experts to foster stronger dialogue and accelerate progress.
We were established in 2024 to complement the leadership of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), a caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives founded in 2009 and composed of 100+ Members of Congress committed to advancing durable and effective environmental policy.
Our work aims to broaden understanding, build momentum, and drive meaningful action on durable and effective environment and clean energy policy.
SEEC Institute partners with our allies on four primary goals and activities

Convene stakeholders, allies, partners, and supporters for our annual Solutions Summit as well as quarterly programming and exclusive events to bolster relationships between Members, staff, and supporters.

Conduct original research, informed by supporter collaboration, and publish policy papers/issue briefs and reports on key issues pending before Congress and the Administration.

Provide congressional staff and other policy professionals a better understanding of policies, politics, and processes surrounding the advancement of climate and clean energy at the federal level and give them the tools they need to make well-crafted, durable policy.

Educate allies through travel with elected officials and staff, witnessing the impacts and solutions of climate change and clean energy first-hand.
