Our domestic location-focused travel program takes participants to crucial centers of innovation like New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, greater Phoenix, and beyond. These trips highlight pioneering climate, environment and clean energy initiatives in action, including:

• Visits with clean tech innovators

• Tours of renewable energy projects, sustainable infrastructure, and other key projects

• Meetings with local leaders, community organizations, and other relevant figures.

• Insights into how different people and places in America are tackling the climate crisis while fostering economic growth.

National Park Expeditions: Experiencing the Climate Impacts on America’s Natural Heritage

Building on a legacy of nine Congressionally-led National Park climate  trips, SEEC Institute is enhancing these immersive experiences. Participants will:

• Witness the tangible impacts of climate change on America’s most iconic natural landscapes.

• Explore how the National Park Service and other expert land stewards are leading on resilience and sustainability and determine what additional support they need. 

• Engage with local organizations and gateway communities to understand the interconnectedness of climate, conservation, and community well-being.

These trips aim to foster a deeper appreciation for America’s natural heritage while emphasizing the importance of protecting it in the short-term and for future generations.

Global Climate Leadership at COP
